About Amarnath Yatra :-
Amarnath caves are one of the most famous shrines in Hinduism, dedicated to God Shiva, located in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The shrine is claimed to be over 5,000 years old and forms an important part of ancient Hindu mythology. The image of Shiva, in the form of a lingam, is formed naturally of ice - stalagmite, and which waxes and wanes with the moon. By its side are, fascinatingly, two more ice - lingams, that of Parvati and of their son, Ganesha.
In recent times, the legend is that in 1850, the cave was re-discovered by a Muslim shepherd boy named Buta Malik.
The Amaranth Yatra is organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Government, in the month of Shravan, and starts mainly from Pahalgam on specified dates. In recent years, the route from Baltal has also been thrown open for the pilgrims to approach the holy Cave.

Day 1 : Delhi / Jammu
Morning as per schedule time departure from Delhi to Jammu (590 kms) by Train. Arrived & check into Hotel. Rest of the time free for leisure. Overnight stay

Day 2 :
Jammu / Srinagar |
Morning proceed to Srinagar (300 kms) enroute overview of flower valley, Deodar Trees, Shephard valley and the natural beauty of Kashmir valley. Arrive & check in to Hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay |

Day 3 :
Srinagar / Baltal |
Morning check out from Hotel & proceed to Baltal (125 kms) for Amarnath Yatra. After arrive at Baltal, overnight accommodation in Tent. |

Day 4 : Baltal / Amarnath / Baltal
Early morning breakfast & trek to Holy cave (23 kms) this distance may cover by pony, Doli, Helicopter or by walk. Arrive, Darshan of Ice Shiv Ling in Holy Cave. After some relax at nearby Holy Cave back to Baltal. Overnight stay in Tent.

Day 5 :
Baltal / Srinagar |
After lunch drive to Srinagar (120 Kms). Arrive Srinagar check in to Hotel, rest of time free for leisure. Overnight stay. |

Day 6 :
Srinagar |
After breakfast explore the city & visit beautiful Gardens, Sankaracharya Temple, Sikara Ride in Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Hotel. |

Day 7 : Srinagar / Katra
Morning after breakfast proceed to Katra (310 kms) en-route overview of natural beauty of Kashmir Valley. Arrive & check in to Hotel. Overnight stay.

Vaishno Devi |
Proceed to one of the holy place Vaishno-Devi Temple darshan (14 kms).This distance may cover by Walk, Pony, Doli or Helicopter. Darshan in Temple & return to Katra. Overnight stay in Hotel. |

Katra / Delhi / Next Destination |
After breakfast transfer to Jammu (35 kms) and as per schedule time transfer to Railway Station for Delhi. Arrive at Delhi.Tour concludes with happy memories. |
